Project Summary
This project was interesting because we took an existing building, braced the exterior walls and removed the roof structure. The new roof structure that we built, besides being designed to support itself, was designed to support a future roof top patio area and designed to support the existing exterior walls.
The goal was to work as a team with the owner, architect, contractor and subcontractors to integrate both the tasting room and the brewing area. The drawings for the processing area were mostly equipment placement, so all of the routing of the piping to and from the equipment was developed on site and coordinated between the groups. Communication was a key when we were putting the processing area together.
