Founded by brothers Ron and Don Brester and incorporated on May 12, 1982, Brester Construction, Inc. brings more than 50 years of experience to the development, construction, and renovation of residential and commercial projects. The Bresters' first project was the renovation of the Russell Stover Candy Factory in Lincoln's Historic Haymarket District. In the years that followed, the Bresters turned their fledgling venture into an industry-leading multimillion-dollar enterprise, founded on the brothers' firm business philosophy--"to provide good value at a fair price." Today, Brester Construction's project roster comprises approximately 50 single-family homes and townhomes and 150 to 200 multi-family units per year as well as a bevy of commercial projects, both large and small. With the help of skilled, highly motivated subcontractors, the company continues to achieve the level of personal service and outstanding quality that serves as the core of their success. For their efforts, Brester Construction was the first contractor in Lincoln to be named Builder of the Month (in the June 1995 issue of Builder/Architect magazine of Nebraska/Western Iowa). In 1999, the company won the Better Business Bureau's "Integrity Award" in the small-business category. In addition, Brester Construction ranked among the 10 finalists (in their category) for the Better Business Bureau's "National Torch Award" in 2000. |
